Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum we need to run Thromes. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't track you across other sites. If you delete your account, we delete your data.

What we collect

• Email address — so you can sign in via magic link. Required.
• Display name and avatar — if you choose to set them. Optional.
• Thromes you create (titles, descriptions, locations, dates, categories, images), reflections you write, and completion dates. You own this content.
• Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications. You can revoke anytime in Settings.
• Basic usage telemetry — page loads, error events. Anonymised, aggregated. No cross-site tracking.

What we don't collect

• Advertising identifiers
• Location data (other than the location you tag on a Throme)
• Contacts, microphone, camera (except when you explicitly upload an image)
• Health, financial, or biometric data

Where your data lives

Supabase (PostgreSQL + Storage, hosted on AWS) stores your account, Thromes, and uploaded images. Cloudflare serves the app and website. Those are the only two third-party services that touch your data.

Sharing + third parties

We don't share your data with anyone except as required by law. Public Thromes you create (flagged with is_public = true) are visible to other users — that's the point. Private Thromes are visible only to you.

Your rights

• Export: email support@thromes.com for a full data export (JSON).
• Deletion: in-app Profile → Delete Account permanently removes everything. Alternatively, email us.
• GDPR / CCPA: residents of the EU, UK, or California have the above rights by law. We honor them globally.

Children's privacy

Thromes is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll email you before the change takes effect. Non-material clarifications get a date bump here.
